Overview
The undergraduate certificate in arts integration and learning leverages the expertise of the art education program within the Department of Art & Design while also offering you many opportunities to take courses in dance, film, music and theatre. Your certificate culminates in a capstone course, which takes the form of a workshop in art education or curriculum and instruction.
Through guidance from experienced educators, you’ll learn the art and craft of writing and teaching curriculum that connects socially engaged contemporary art and visual culture with the lives, memories, identities and communities of students in a range of school settings.
